On June 2nd, directly impacted leaders were joined by academic experts from Puerto Rico, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia and the Congo for a virtual convening where they raised awareness of the global effects of vulture lending. During the discussion, experts shared the need for legislative action in places like New York State and the United Kingdom. We worked with a growing international coalition of activists, artists, academics and legal experts.
